Tempe Chamber Announces Candidate and Ballot Endorsements
The Tempe Chamber is pleased to announce its endorsements for the Nov. 6, 2012 elections. After diligent research, fact-finding and candidate interviews, the following endorsements have been made, each which the chamber believes will have the most positive impact on business.

A lot has been made of the “pledge” to not raise taxes driven by Grover Norquist. I propose a new pledge for both voters and candidates:
Vote or Stop Complaining
On Nov. 2, Arizona has 10 state propositions to decide, school district bonds to consider, a governor’s office up for grabs, and congressional and US senate seats in flux. Tempe also is voting on who will fill the legislative seats in District 17 and 20.
Vote “Yes” in Bond Election
The Tempe Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has voted to support the Tempe Elementary School District’s Nov. 3 $77 million bond election.
