The Tempe Chamber’s Women in Business Council presents a powerful speaker series that will guide participants on becoming leaders through positive transformation at work and at home.  Participants who attend every session in the series will be entered to win a round-trip Southwest Airlines plane ticket! Two winners will be drawn from all eligible entries.

The series is scheduled as follows:

Jan. 18, Jackie Thompson: “Be Me 365″
This session will encourage attendees to envision their personal and professional goals then design a plan to accomplish them beyond the obvious. Jackie Thompson has worked as a marketing professional for over 20 years and as a skilled community affairs manager for the past eight years at Southwest Airlines. Jan. 25, Joan Jakel: “Capturing the Elusive Balance”�
This dynamic presentation will lead you from the all-too familiar path of overload to discovering practical solutions to create balance and design a fulfilling life. Joan Jakel is a successful business attorney who enjoys helping entrepreneurs reach their dreams and goals. Register 

Feb. 1, Karen Gridley: “Spark, Ignite and Fuel Your Inner Pilot Light: A Success Mindset to Sustain Women in Business”
This empowering session leads you beyond excuses that hold you back and puts you in the driver’s seat to stay on track. Karen Gridley is The Excuse Removal Expert™. Feb. 8, Dee Dee Tapson: “The One Minute House”
“The One Minute House” is an interactive activity that will allow participants to have fun as they increase their communication skills and reinforce the benefit of creating a supportive team. Delia “Dee Dee” Tapson is a dynamic, charismatic human resources professional who currently holds the title of Coordinator of Creative Pathways Programs for the Maricopa Community College District.
