The Tempe Chamber of Commerce presented Linda Kalaf with the Volunteer of the Year Award at the 15th annual Breakfast for Chamber Champions.
“This award is given to someone who has gone above and beyond to help make the Tempe Chamber and its programs a success,” said Mary Ann Miller, Tempe Chamber President/CEO. “Linda has consistently dedicated her time, energy, services and efforts to helping our members, and we are thrilled to honor her with this recognition.”
From serving as the chair of the Women in Business Council to spearheading innovative and valuable new Chamber offerings, Kalaf’s drive and determination have helped foster the Tempe Chamber’s success. She was instrumental in forming the Chamber’s new Mentoring Program, which is fostering personal and professional growth in a group of Chamber members.
She also furthered the Women in Business Speaker Series, bringing inspirational women to the program and providing an opportunity for participants to become leaders through positive transformation. In fact, she was one of the first speakers when the program kicked off a few years ago.
Professionally, Kalaf has been working locally with Veolia Transportation since 2007 as Director of Human Resources, Passenger Relations and Community Engagement. She has been recognized by many organizations and has received awards for her work and achievements.
