Covered – How to Make the Media Notice You
On June 16 the Tempe Chamber of Commerce is holding a workshop to teach businesses how to get the media to notice and cover them. The workshop takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton at 1333 S. Rural Rd. in Tempe. A panel of reporters and journalists will show how to write a press release that will get noticed, how to pitch a story idea, conduct a successful interview, and secure coverage of your business and events. The expert panel will include Rick Flowers, Publisher of the East Valley Tribune; Adam Kress, New Media Editor at the Phoenix Business Journal; and Tom Spratt, from the Arizona Republic, who will help give you the tools to make your marketing plan successful.
