We are pleased to present the State of the Schools Address on Wed., Sept. 30, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites Tempe at 4400 S. Rural Rd.
Each year this event provides a chance for the public to meet with a panel of educators to learn the condition of the Valley’s educational institutions and determine how the community can assist in strengthening them. The State of the Schools Address consistently provides participants with new tools, ideas and methods for working with the educational community in a mutually beneficial manner.
This year’s panel will feature the Tempe Elementary School District Superintendent Dr. Arthur Tate; Kyrene School District Superintendent Dr. David Schauer; Tempe Union High School District Superintendent Steve Adolph; Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at Maricopa Community College District Dr. Maria Harper-Marinick; founder and CEO of Pinnacle Education Dr. Mike Matwick; and VP for University Student Initiatives at ASU Dr. James Rund.
The event format is a luncheon followed by a panel discussion on the top issues concerning the educational community. It is moderated by Margaret Garcia-Dugan, Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction with the Arizona Department of Education.
Tickets are $35 each for members, $45 for prospective members or $450 for a VIP table of ten. RSVP to (480) 967-7891 or online here.
The event is presented by Ed Options and sponsored by Children’s Dental Village, Tempe Schools Credit Union, Alphagraphics, Arredondo & Arredondo Insurance, State Farm, Motorola and Rio Salado College.
