Each year this event provides a chance for the public to meet with a panel of educators to learn the condition of the Valley’s educational institutions and determine how the community can assist in strengthening them. The State of the Schools Address consistently provides participants with new tools, ideas and methods for working with the educational community in a mutually beneficial manner.

A lot of the furor over health care reform center on the proposed end-of-life discussions for Medicare recipients. I completely agree that this shouldn’t happen. Those discussions need to happen much earlier in life.
