Wow my eyes are sore, I have learned so much by getting ready to educate the chamber on Web 2.0 and Social Media as the point person in charge of rolling out the training we have planned for Chamber members.
Using Twitter I have made contact with people like Amber Mac who Linked me up with Tony Robbins, who gave me a link to a blog about the 27 best Twitter Applications For Businesses using Twitter. Some great stuff, which I will bring to your attention in upcoming sessions, once I get them all digested.
I thought I was a Social Media Guru with my LinkedIn expertise, using Twitter since 2007 and having a ManageStaff page on Facebook, Naymz, Merchant Circle, Plaxo and more. I had only scratched the surface, and I have 31 Google pages now with my name and am getting business from all over the country by using the web.
We have discussion panels set for April 9th, 4 PM at Montes La Casa Viejas, informal training and hands-on training planned in the next couple months to move Tempe Chamber members into the 21st Century. Hold on to your hats, we have a vast amount of information to tell you and it’s a lot to grasp, but we will put it into easy to understand terms and make sure you adsorb a little at a time, so that your companies are recognized and marketed correctly in the Web 2.0 and Social Networking age.
For starters, check out this quick 2-minute video as a sort of introduction to where we will be going in the weeks and months ahead.

I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
